With Savathun gone by the end of witch queen, it only feels like there will be a power vacuum with no Hive leader that could possibly be swayed to the side of humanity, similar in a sense to the character of Kerrigan from StarCraft.
In short, there is a prophecy in StarCraft where the character named Kerrigan is killed (she controls a huge portion of Zerg which is similar to the Hive) and when she is killed in the prophecy, a being took control (the real big baddie of the series) of the Zerg and destroyed literally everything in the universe (there’s more to it, like fusing the Zerg with another “alien” race and making hybrids that were stronger than any force previously encountered in StarCraft). By killing off the character Kerrigan and having no force to lead the Zerg basically, the universe was instantly doomed.
Cut back to the shot when you’re guardian is right in front of Savathun’s body and your guardian has their back towards the screen. I can’t help but feel regret and a sense of “What have I done” when having being forced to pull the trigger instead of having to talk it out. I doubt Xivi Arath would be willing to speak especially with two siblings killed. Savathun could’ve spoken to the guardian and although she could’ve still be plotting to kill the guardian, it still would’ve been a situation of “The enemy of my enemy” type of jig. In then, now, I feel like the guardian is ultimately doomed. There are some Fallen and some Cabal on our side, yet there are two races that still hasn’t came to our dinner table yet and I feel like there’s a lot more that could’ve been done to make that a possibility.
Even so..
THOUGHTS??!!

I mean she isn’t an ally and doesn’t want to be. Her plan was to hide and leave us to die. That said, they didn’t keep her alive for no reason. She’ll be an ally of convince them backstab us. Or we’ll be smart and backstab her.
