Well. When we first meet her in witch queen it’s clear she has knowledge about us and the current situation. So clearly she did something before she let herself be captured the previous season. Or else how would she know as much, including her plan for us giving her memories. Maybe she left a bunch of post it notes somewhere. Maybe she told some of her followers that if she resurrected to tell her a/b/c. Including the ghost that would eventually be hers. Etc In short. By the time we meet her she has enough knowledge to indicate she left some sort of knowledge behind. But not tons of it; just enough to keep her plan running until we restored her memories in full. Trusted hive members is the most logical step since they’d seek her out, instead of hoping she found a cave or something with post it notes stuck to the walls.

im still confused about how her hive also have the light tbh but its more like I imagine she was revived, but she still has followers and they're helping her remember who she was to them and maybe helping her with those tablets and other stuff. But the gist is thats her people and they're just looking out for each other I guess.
