Some Tips on completing Solstice faster

Some tips on Levelling up the Solstices faster. I did my Titan without thinking the challenges through, but my Warlock will take about 5 hours to get done, solo. For the Hand Cannon Kills ("HandLighter challenge), Equip the SunShot Hand Cannon if you have it. You should also run a Solar Super with it, put the "Harmonic Siphon" on your helmet (makes orbs on solar double kills), the "Flame Harvesting" mod on your Class item (which makes Solar Elemental Wells when getting kills with exotic Solar weapons) and the "Well of Life" mod (which heals you on picking up Solar Elemental wells). These will help you stay alive, get the "Hand Lighter" kills and charge your abilities up too for the "Pyromania" and "Superlative" challenges too. You can get a big jump on the "In the Host Seat" challenge by completing the 10 patrols ("LampLighter" challenge) and 10+ heroic Public events ("Solstice Jubilee" challenge) in the Throne World. Toss on a Shot Gun and you can also get a chunk of "ShotGun Solstice" done too. Lost Sectors, Public event and the Reflection missions give you 5% and The Weekly mission and Well Spring give you 10% for "In the Host Seat" challenge. On a side note, the metamorphosis lost sector in the Miasma area is the fastest and has the fewest enemies one to run too. The "Forged in Flame" challenge (100 guardian kills) was easiest to get done in "Mayhem" for me. I had a couple of bad matches, but managed to get 5 to 19 kills per game and got it done in ~ 10 rounds. This also counts for the very tedious "Fires of Competition" Challenge too (25 Gambit or Crucible games). Since your not using weapons much, put on any of the "Deepsight Resonance" weapons you have and level them up by about 30 to 40% per game. I got a couple of forged weapons up 2+ levels. The "Spark in the Dark" challenge is easiest to complete doing the "Altars of Sorrow" in Sorrows Harbour on the moon. One complete run to the Boss got it done. The Sever missions only give 20% per run and simply takes too long. Also Altar of Sorrows has tonnes of low health grouped enemies for completing weapons, abilities and super kills AND has a lot of bosses too. If other peopel are ther, you can feed off their orbs, so it makes some of the Ability and Super challenges a lot faster to complete. The rest of it is just a slog grind fest. Have fun... Edit: The "Dare To Dream" challenge will take 4 runs (25% per) of either Blind Wells (Dreaming City) or "Dares of Eternity". If you have 4 people at Blind Well (I had 6 randoms), it seems to me to be somewhat faster to complete and there are no Champions to Worry about, so any weapons work.
