Did a master well spring last night for 9 leaves. For science I did a regular wellspring, got 9 leaves as well. No incentive to do the higher tiers at all. No additional credit for % completed and no additional leaves.

Yeah, I think I’m done with this event. I upgraded my gear and three out of four pieces had a lower score than before. Upgrades should always move you forward. Not back.
