Because, bungie is moving away from any sort of possibility of PvP being competitive. The game is cheese now, they don’t care and never will.

The only time they tried to make it competitive was D2 Y1. Slow ttk, slow super and ability recharge, similar weapons because no random rolls. It looked like a mix of halo and destiny. Probably in Year 1 main pluses was balancing in both pvp and pve, and aesthetics. I think the best pvp was in Year 3, I only remember 2 cheeses - revoker and mountain top, since Beyond Light this game always been about abusing everything.

Trying to make it competitive or an esport is why it sucks.
-
LMAO right BC LoW, restoration, stasis, invis, OS, yeah that’s all trying to make it an esport. Please don’t speak on the game if you’re clueless

Edited by BigHux12: 7/19/2022 8:35:10 PMYeah they threw away all the progress they made in D1 and gave us vanilla D2. Double primaries slow movement and maybe one super per match. Hell people couldn’t finish the first mission during the beta cause we moved too slow. How about the -blam!- show that was the return of trials? At what point has this game been remotely considered a competitive pvp experience?

“My sweet summer child” there was a point in time where this game had a sizable skill gap. Please go back to dreg farming

We are in the era of the .5 QP dad gamer dictating what is changed. It’s epic lol

The meta now is spamming invis with Omni, overshields, and healing grenades, and it's absolute cancer. No primary gunfights, no skill, and just camping.
