Personally i only run about 3 resil on my hunter, and can’t remember a single time that having a higher resil would have saved me. The difference between t0 resil and t10 resil in pvp is only like 18 health if i can remember correctly, and outside of those rare niche use cases, that little heath isn’t going to be saving you often, if at all. Biggest reason personally if i would ever run a high resilience build would be because at t9+, with a titan overshield and omni dmg resist, your able to tank a chaperone headshot.
