This is ridiculous, just bailed out of a strike because all I wanted was just run through killing everything along the way but my forced partners think its better to skip everything. I get that it's fun sometimes to try skipping through as blistering fast as possible but...why in a normal bs strike? And there's always at least one person who's like this every single time I do any strike from anywhere. NFs I feel gets an out because of the higher caliber of skill needed and how ridicules they can become, but for the rest its absolute madness.
I just want to run through a strike at my own pace, play through it the way I want. It can have the same crap rewards as picking one with matchmaking on. Just an option to play it solo from each planetary location. Select the world, then select the strike, and then select matchmaking off and launch. Nothing extra, just that option....please
Edit:
It seems that quite a few people here aren't understanding which strikes I'm talking about. I'm talking about the individual strikes in each of the destinations, NOT the vanguard strike playlist. Just the base basic strikes that you have to pick individually to get the option to play solo, nothing else.
And if your argument is about rewards, then go play in the playlists where the rewards are better. I'm just wanting to play through at my leisure using whatever weapons/tactics I want, as slow or as fast as I want without random people dictating my play-style by simply trying to rush ahead of me.
I have played this game long enough to know how to rush and I can keep up, if not pull ahead, with the best of them. I just find it very boring to play that rushing style all the time when I just want to relax and play how I want to. So what if I want to go slow, its solo.
