We all got error code currant, got a loss on our card, and got suspended from competative pvp.
Not sure if we got DDOSed or if your servers just suck (both are very much a possibility, sadly).
Either way, invest into some better servers and anti cheat... ya know, the things that are kind of needed for a AAA game

definitively ddos, cheaters are returning. during a trials match got ddossed. like suddenly contact servers then error code. thing is my net works perfectly fine except at midning (daily reset or something at service provider stuns the net for 10 minutes). after getting back network worked perfectly fine, my network on pc, phone also worked perfectly. and after the ddos i switch my profile visibility offline on ps4 and didn't get attacked anymore.

Wasn't a ddos . 1. You have to get aleast 1 round completed before it counts as a win on a card so its wouldn't count for the other team as a win them flying in and the game immediately ending. 2. Your internet would have had to reboot . Not just an error code. You just got a unlucky.

Your ship needs to git gud

Wait, Destiny is a triple AAA game?
-
Sounds like you need a better gaming chair

Really, really wish some of ya’ll would educate yourselves about DOS attacks.
-
Haven’t seen ddos since beyond light
-
That's P2P. Fun.

Dedicated servers would have the ability to detect network manipulation, they would also have increased connectivity stability so disconnects would rarely happen unless it's on your end.... just sayin
-
That’s not how DDOS works- currant occurs when P2P fails, which is typically the networking between you and your fireteam. If a connection between at least one or more players in the session continually bugs, it will throw an error code. Nothing to do with Denial of Service, but a faulty aspect of player to player connectivity

That’s normal around here

I got ddos'd the other day in freelance yesterday, my mom nearly missed her important work related zoom meeting. Stupid childish losser cheaters don't care that there actions effect other people's lives. Anyways my mother wanted him reported and so I did just that, I hope the ddos'er gets banned. I shouldn't have to consider that simply playing trials will likely lead to a ddos attack during the day could cause disruption In our lives on a silly video game.

Siege still has ddosers in gold people started using it casual matches. It’s -blam!- sad I have to use a vpn to play a game released by a AAA developer. I haven’t seen it the weekend I played trials hopefully next time I do I won’t have to deal with it I’d be sad if I have to use a vpn for destiny of all games. The servers are quite bad so it still could have been that. Did it crash your whole internet? When I get ddosed in siege my whole internet takes a crap for 5-10 mins.

Edited by Axolotl_Roadkill: 6/28/2022 10:11:32 AMDdos has nothing to do with anti cheat systems or the game.

Your entire home network would crap out if you where hit by a ddos attack. Lobbys can randomly close, servers can shut down and you can randomly dc without it having anything to do with cheating or network manipulation (which is not nearly as common as some people on these forums think)
