“Escaped”? I wouldn’t say it “escaped” Fundament. More like uplifted it before the Traveler fled from its power

Uplifted? The Worm Gods gave the Krill Darkness power and turned them into the Hive. They were slaughtering the other civilizations on it until they escaped to the moons and wiped out the Ammonites and the Leviathan. Then went on to purge that entire galaxy hunting down the Traveler. The Worm Gods didn’t uplift anything, the Worm Pact was intended to kill the Hive after they slaughtered the cosmos.
