Stopped reading at “I am tired of seasonal content not aligning with the big overall story” (paraphrasing)
Clearly you have not been paying attention from Season of the Hunt and onwards

It took Bungie 2 and a half years just to reintroduce Crow and in my opinion his story is just mediocre at best. Plus we haven't really heard from Spider since that season, "oh but the Tangled Shore is gone so therefore so is Spider," it's a band aid fix. And what happened about the bomb in Glint? Just ignored, no cutsceen or dialogue about them removing it.

Our Guardian (smartly) replied with Crow. Point being, Spider honored his word and gave us Crow. “You want, my Little Bird? Take him and get the Hell out of my lair!” He clearly is upset but still honors the deal. Therefore, since Crow is no longer his, it’s basically confirmed that the bomb won’t be used by him/it’s gone.

Also, in the end of hunt, there was a little wall of text that said that the spider took it out. So theres also that.

I agree there are some other minor story threads that should be touched on at the very least and could connect to the big story but it’s clear they’ve been building a grander story of enemy sides forming between the Taken, Scorn, and Nightmares verses everyone else.
