At this point I'd say just scrap the Day Break super as a whole and replace it with the Harvester Scythe. It basically does everything the sword should be doing right now.
It makes targets explode on kill, spreads scorch and causes ignitions. The projectile has the same animation and sound effect as the swords and it has crazy good tracking.
It's excellent at mob control, single target dps and it can heal the user on kills.
And it does all that without the need of a fragment, aspect or exotic. It also pairs very very well with Dawn Chorus, and the fragments that boost scorch and Ignitions.
Harvester Scythe is everything Solar 3.0 Daybreak should have been.

Tbh though then they'd have to make new solar supers for the other classes and we all know that'd be too much work and then people would also want Arc 3.0 and Void 3.0 to get a new super

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Hunter and Titan getting a new super too. I wouldn't even call it "new" as the Harvester scythe is quite literally the Day Break super with a cosmetic change. Bungie already said that the mind spear relic had Arc 3.0 features and they were discussing giving Hunter a new Arc super in 3.0 to give it more than just, well, another stick.

Perfect example of spoiled rotten warlocks asking for literally everything all at once whenever they feel just a little bit less than OP.
