Just because you don't like them doesn't mean the rest of the community doesn't. The melee damage they do is almost as much as the light sword attack without the need of heavy ammo

False, glaive melee dps is equivalent to uncharged guardian melee, which is nowhere near heavy sword combo damage. Glaives have a higher than average multiplier against bosses because they can’t crit.

I just flew into vox and did 18,756 glaive melee, 9,003 uncharged melee, and 20,662 light sword attack on the unstoppable there. The red bars my sword was 30,790, glaive melee 18,756, and uncharged melee 9,003. Orange bars 22,308 sword light attack, 18,756 glaive melee, 9,003 uncharged melee I never said it was equivalent to heavy sword combo either. I said it was almost as much as sword light attack, which it is on orange bars and higher tier enemies. Well it's a whole lot closer to sword light attack than it is to uncharged melee damage anyway. Regardless of the damage reduction that swords get against higher tier enemies that claives and uncharged melee don't get glaive melee and uncharged melee are in no way equivalent to each other with the glaive melee being more than double damage of an uncharged melee.

What stats? My saying the melee damage is almost as much as sword light attack isn't even remotely close to stating any kind of stats. Maybe once you have some play time under your belt you will understand things more clearly.

I’ve given up on pve. Not into the grind anymore. But I’m glad other people enjoy it. So, I have no idea (except for your previously applied information) about the effectiveness of the weapon that is the [i]glaive[/i]. I’m looking at the glaive solely from a pvp perspective.
