You have no idea what you're talking about. Adept guns are Grandmaster exclusive loot, not "strike specific" loot. What OP means is Bungie adding in items specific to that singular strike and themed from it, such as the Shield Brothers gauntlet armor for Titans in D1, or the Grasp of Malok Pulse RIfle, etc.

What we have now are essentially regular D1 legendary gear that is just dropping in nightfalls. D1 strike specific gear was exactly what the name states. Gear that was specific to certain strikes. Armour pieces that was based on the the strike boss, or weapons that were themed after the strike. We don’t really have that in D2.

Not really, strike exclusive loot in d1 was something actually exclusive to each strike like the dark blades helmet or psion flayers cloaks. Generic guns that have nothing to do with the strikes they are rewards off - and indeed rotate to other nightfalls are clear proof they aren't exclusive to that particular strike making them DIFFERENT then what op is asking for
