They don't give us timelines for these things and why would they. They faced so many issues with this season's launch and the weeks following, some of them a lot bigger and actually dangerous for the business model of D2. Like they could tell us that they plan to have it fixed by day X, but in come bugs with licenses missing, silver balances be wrong and silver purchases heavily delayed. Priorities must be made and those will sometimes change the timeline, so why tell us in the first place, just to see people get angry. Can't just snap a finger on code and magically make things work. They also need to make sure that the fix does not rip holes in the rest of the game (which, judging by what we have seen in the past and the large amounts of long slim noodles is quite the possibility). They make a lot of questionable decisions but not prioritizing a single cosmetic over gameplay / business destroying issues is imo not one of them.
