So Freelance Trails isn't a thing anymore?
So Im guessing freelance trials won't be coming back or an I missing something

Unfortunately it ain’t permanent. Personally I’ll only be playing the weeks it’s available. Nothing really worth putting on tryhard pants for anymore.

I only gone flawless alone in normal once. The other times freelance. I need freelance I don't have a squad.

I prefer going flawless solo in the regular mode. Then i can find a team to play with. Hot take. I don't like freelance.

2 RepliesFreelance sucks. Last Trials, I was on my flawless game without a mercy left (6-1). Matchmaking was taking a bit longer then usual, and once the lobby started loading, I noticed there were only 5 players loading in. Weird, and what would you know it, I was on the team of 2. For a PvP God, this is an easy obstacle to overcome, and probably not a challenge whatsoever. But for your average player, this is a huge disadvantage, and it was. The other team was playing very well together. We went down 4-1, and the odds were not looking good. But that 4-1 turned to 4-2, then 4-3. And then would you know it, we were at 4-4, final round and my teammate clutches a nova bomb and wins us the game! But since it was Freelance I had no one to celebrate with and went to the lighthouse by myself. Very disappointing and boring. Moral of the story, find a team, any team and grind it out. Makes it much more worth it!

I believe Bungie doesn't want freelance to be around full time. They didn't bring it around until recently, basically 5-6 years without freelance. I'm quite certain that Bungie expects you to use the matchmaking to make friends to train with and play with on weeks with no freelance. Join a PvP clan?

Freelance isnt a permanent option for trials it comes comes and goes. It'll be back though

12 RepliesThere's always Survival freelance. I just played the most amazing match. It was truly amazing. Wow. I think the goal for Trials was always to get people to play on teams. Even the freelance weeks are probably supposed to encourage people to make teams.
