The cause is due to having consistently unstable internet. First it’s a warning, then a 2 week ban, multiple 2 month bans followed by a perma ban.
The solution is to have a correctly configured router, simply connecting a lan cable or having 100% wifi isn’t enough.

What is being defined as unstable internet? Because I don't disconnect from the servers when I play or lag out of matches.

Edited by BraddyBo: 6/10/2022 6:34:29 PMPacket loss, dips in wifi strength, ports not opening, high bandwidth, etc. Unlike other games, D2 use p2p servers so unstable internet isn’t usually noticeable by the person in question unless the internet is so broken that you get kicked offline meaning when you lag/teleport only others notice that instead of yourself. I can tell you the solution (how to tune router) but there is no way around the 2 month ban, you will have to wait it out first.

As for clarity about your pvp RESTRICTIONS (bans are complete and permanent removal from the whole game) the message that pops up in the centre of the screen when a restriction is issued explains everything. If you skip that message in a rush to play is not Bungie's fault. But you ARE lagging in matches ruining the game for others and they reported you to Bungie who then investigated your activities and found reason to issue a stand alone warning... which you ignored. Then after more reports and another investigation a warning and a 2 week pvp restriction... which you ignored. More reports and another investigation and you get to the warnings and 2 month pvp restrictions. There is nothing random. There is nothing false about the restrictions.

It's not something that I ignored. I don't know how to address an issue with a vague notification. I'm only 16 years old.

Have you done a full Internet diagnostic looking for issues you are looking for... Up and down speeds (these need to be considered separately) NAT type. Data loss rates. Signal latency. Jitter. How often do you reset your router and then clear your system's cache to refresh your Internet connection (all ISP's recommend this more so after a lot of downloading). Also to note that wifi is subject to interference.

Edited by Crisidelm: 6/10/2022 6:12:32 PMIt means you're rubberbanding/teleporting for the other players, those in the other team...
