Rift was great!

Me and my clan had an absolute blast in Rift last week. We loved the communication/team based game mode rather than just the ‘go to point A, go to point B’ control mode that we’ve been used to. Sure, there were some bugs and changes that could be made but overall it was a great experience. A lot of games we played were against solo players (not sure why they weren’t using freelance) but we also had some really close matches against other full teams where we had to knuckle down and really communicate with each-other to get the win! A couple of changes we thought would be good was a mercy rule - perhaps 3-0 is a mercy? Possibly changing the respawn timer to 7-8 seconds as well would give players the chance to get back into the game.

  • Agree. I played in Freelance and an objective based game mode other than Control was a breath of fresh air. Some routs taken and given but a lot of good engagements over position and holding the line took place. The transmat respawn is actually a brilliant idea to prevent getting trapped in your own spawn by a good team. From my experience Rift was the most fun I've had in Banner since D2 released.
