Yes, very rarely you get nothing. Also, very rarely you can get double drops i.e. core, prism, exotic and the NF weapon all in one completion. Obviously dependant on what difficulty you run is what loot to expect. For a heroic I dont expect anything anyway, I dismantle any garbage unless it is a core or that 1 in a mil chance a NF weapon drops on such a low difficulty.

Thank you for a reasonable and based reply. There are far too many trolls around here. I see what you mean and although the odds of getting zero gear is very rare (this is only the second or third time I can recall this happening in all the years I've been playing), I contend that is still a bad idea in a looter shooter. The chances of getting items with decent rolls in any activity is so very slim as it is.
