Come on man. Don't make such a lazy excuse. Grandmaster Nightfalls are 1 strike for an entire week on a much higher difficulty than I speak about. I speak about a middle ground difficulty like the WQ campaign on legend, without champions, with modifiers and most importantly ALL Strikes, not just 1 per week.

True but the problem with that is that it would make nightfalls redundant the whole point of nightfall was that it was harder strikes and you get the chance at nightfall weapons

I don't see how that would make Nightfalls redundant. The very majority of NF runs is played for upgrade mats. Just don't add upgrade mats as a reward to heroic strike playlists and rather other stuff like: * 20-30x Planet Material (common) * 5000 Glimmer (common) * 20 Legendary Shards (uncommon) Those 3 rewards alone would be incentive enough, if you need legendary shards or want to grind materials without paying Rahool or play Patrol.
