Same! I'm sick of seeing ads in the Fireteam Finder and tired of getting DMs by bots thinking I need carried in something!

Getting non stop notifications on the Bungie app after every LFG with dms that are all selling Carrie’s very annoying . Wish way to stop it gets very frustrating. Are the people running the bots just sitting in LFG or are they actually have to be in my fireteam to send it to me? Might check names closer and might block any keep coming up when get Dms. I held off blocking until can get answer if I’m actual fireteam during activity or just scanning anyone using LFG

There's likely a program just sending them based on the type of activity you are a part of 🤷♂️

Ok thinking that so not point block innocent users. If Bungie was so against the pay to carry wish they watch LFG and block bots or users . I always see in LFG a looking for with carry info and website should be able to block the user /IP posting them and also maybe use keywords or web address to filter through LFG to find em but hey that’s just me thinking Bungie bought for ton of money they could spend some improving the experience benefit players and Bungie in the end.

Yeah I agree. I think there should be a 2-step verification before you can use the fireteam to help reduce it. But all accounts that say stuff like that are brand new and haven't actually played the game
