As I saw someone else mention in their own post. Bungie disabled the power advantage to make IB more friendly to lower power players. But I find it hilarious that they force those players into an objective based mode that requires good teamwork.
Leading to 5-0 game after 5-0 game for a lot of people. If they don’t make the changes needed to rift they should at least give us the option for control IB on the next one.

The problem with the power level is that now, people has a reason to usw the most annoying of the sunset weapons. I got destroyed by mountain top yesterday...

More friendly? It's become way more competitive! Also, Lower power players can't even do the challenges for increased rank bonus. You need to unlock Pinnacle drops by achieving the base cap first.

Hell I'll tolerate losing if I can rank up faster, had loot to grind for just something worth playing. Especially if a person wanted to grind out for the seal. As of now idk if it's worth it

The problem is the rep bug. Now, regardless of winning streaks how many ib gear I have or not...the mlst rep I can get, by winning, is 65...I won't be able to get the badge and title this week. Screw bungo.

I myself am not gonna bother with IB especially since like you said the rank up is slow as hell.

And the points triumph only goes up if you kill the runner?

The only reason I'm doing it is because crucible has double rank up and momentum control isn't a option right now
