The Guardian Games Competitive Playlist is proof that it works. I had no problem running these with random players. I understand the need for matchmaking to be disabled for Master and Grandmaster, but it really isn’t necessary for Legend. If matchmaking was enabled then solo players would have a much better chance of getting the 100k pinnacle each week as well as the Nightfall weapons. Come on Bungie, you know it makes sense!
