Bungie's Silver refund policy can be found here: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049497091-Destiny-Silver-Purchases-Guide#:~:text=in%20Destiny%201.-,Bungie%20does%20not%20provide%20Silver%20refunds%20or%20transfers%20for%20any,Bungie%20or%20the%20platform%20marketplace.
Players that receive Silver refunds, chargebacks, or have their payments denied by the platform marketplaces may see their Silver balance adjusted in Destiny 2. Bungie does not provide Silver refunds or transfers for any Destiny release. * Players that receive platform refunds or chargebacks of Silver they HAVE NOT SPENT in-game will see that the refunded Silver is removed from the Silver balance on their account. * Players that receive platform refunds or chargebacks of Silver they HAVE SPENT in-game will see a negative Silver balance on their account. * Players with a negative Silver balance will not be able to purchase Eververse Items until the outstanding Silver balance on their account has been repaid. * If a Silver purchase is not being accurately reflected on the in-game Silver balance, please see the suggested troubleshooting steps listed below. * IMPORTANT: Players found to be abusing Silver refunds or chargebacks may be temporarily restricted or permanently banned.
I have read it, but it doesn’t tell you how to refund.

 • Up at the top is the key sentence:
Bungie does not provide Silver refunds or transfers for any Destiny release.
The reason why is that all Silver transactions are done through the platform stores, and Bungie itself is not selling you the currency directly. Converting the season pass into Silver is also not something that they do, as it believe it's viewed as a type of transfer. You can work with your platform support to refund the Silver, or your bank if necessary.

 • That's just wrong. I checked if it was possible through steam, and here's what they say: "Refunds are not currently supported for in-game purchases in Destiny 2. Check with the game publisher directly to see if they can provide you with a refund." So, no. Bungie is just being exploitative.

 • Bungie does not handle money. I know that for a fact, as i had to work with Sony for a refund.. Steam is pushing you off to bungie, simply to avoid giving any refunds

 • Makes sense, if we were talking about the transaction between real money. But the thing here; we want the in-game purchase, which was not done through a third-party client, to revert from season pass to silver, which would make up for deluxe edition already including the season passes. This has nothing to do with steam. Its like going to McDonalds to buy a BicMac. Then after you ate it, you would go back and buy a BigMac menu. Then receive only the fries and coke, and being told "you already got a burger earlier even though it was included in what you've paid for". I can understand them not handling the transaction from real money to silver. But everything from that point on is handled by Bungie. It's their own store, and their own made up currency. I can't even see my in-game purchases through steam. As soon as it's converted to Silver, it's just not their business anymore. This is just being greedy.
