What are you talking about. I barely even play trials and especially not for the loot. I could care less about it. But if you know the reason why I got banned I wouldn't mind if you explained this to me in more detail.

“Played” is used very loosely here. You played 15ish matches straight with no opponents (or opponents who miraculously disconnects). That’s only done by someone using network manipulation. Thus, you actively were participating in something that is a bannable offense.
