I totally understand that. I'm not going to, but it's the amount of madness that goes into this that's a driving factor. It's an amount that drives someone to considering it as an option. Same vein of insanity that "Maybe I should just use cheats too. It's not like Bungie is going to ban me" when anti-cheat was non-existent and they weren't saying anything about using one. Just need a break in the matching cycle or to find someone willing to put up with my dogwater skills to get that last 1.2k.

If you try really hard you might be able to find someone to play with you. I'd offer to help but my stats aren't high enough and you'd probably end up lower than you started. If I were you and you have a good match with someone, and especially if that person is good, I'd try to get them to keep playing with you. Playing solo this late in the season its possible that you're really just going to get what you get. 1.2k does sound like its possible, but wow that's got to be a rough position to be in right now.

It's been brutal. What kills me even more is I was at 5236 a week and a half ago, but then it just started crumbling. Tried asking the two I played with if they wanted to go again but haven't heard anything from them. I'll see what I can do, but it's such a difficult hurdle right now.

Make sure you try to take breaks, even short ones, if you lose two or so in a row. I wish I could say something else but it really is getting close to the end of the season. Good luck.
