It's Bungie trying to be edgy and dark ,Heroes sounds too positive, they want you to be depressed all the time And have wrote a narrative that there is no good in the world anymore , and somehow the dark is not evil , even though it wants to kill us all , and the light is not good, even though it lifted Humanity out of darkness, and gave us long life and strength to protect ourselves Stop trying to be Game Of Thrones Bungie, even Game Of Thrones screwed that up
