Okay, now pin it
-
You respond to the strangest posts
-
I reckon he's drunk lol
-
Or his kid (if he has one) got on his phone lol
-
He likely reads most of them. There just isn't much reason to respond to posts that go "REEE Bungie Bad" when he doesn't have a solution or information to offer. For example, people don't like that paid event pass. What is DMG supposed to say? That he'll let Bungie know? The higher ups at Bungie already know this. They just won't change on it.
-
Fair enough. Still feels weird sometimes lol
-
And if he did, we know exactly how people would answer.
-
Honestly it'd be way better if he just responded to those posts with a link to Mr.Crabs saying "MONEY, MONEY".
-
If he did that I would respect the -blam!- out of him to open himself up to harassment like that. I wouldn't love the implication but it would be so ballsy that I would just have to laugh.
-
You want the guy to be cruxified, got it.
-
Cruxified is a bit of an exaggeration. I think most adults would find it funny. Forum babies love acting like this game never does anything good for us. I've got my gripes with Bungie, but I usually feel like my money is well spent with them.

I've got my gripes with Bungie, but I usually feel like my money is well spent with them.
Wow, so anyone doesn't think like you babies 😂 They won't answer these things on the forums, because they just can't. Unlike reddit, the questions will not be about their favourite colours nor some of us wouldn't just say "oh ok thank you for replying with no valuable information"... It requires a real community manager to take the reigns, engage with the community, get the forums moderated, change the structure of the forums (resetting the forum weekly to ease the conversation is a pathetic way to distract people)
-
You basically just provided a perfect example of the type of person I was talking about. 1. A community manager's job is to collect info from the community and report it to others at Bungie. 2. The community manager's at Bungie cannot answer something unless they are 99% sure about it. And even then stuff sometimes changes. So yes. Stuff doesn't get answered on this forum most of the time. That's mainly because it's either "WAHHHH F YOU BUNGIE I HATE YOU YOU TAKE MY MONEY" or "A problem that's been brought up before". 1. Why would anyone respond to a whining child that doesn't have any specific critics. 2. Why would you respond to an issue that's already been brought up a thousand times if nothing has changed on it. For example, changing your characters face. Is it on the list somewhere at Bungie? 100%, it's likely a very low priority item. What exactly is DMG supposed to say on that? He can't say that the team is working on it because then people will expect it. But he also can't say "Heard" because we KNOW how much everyone hates that. The best approach (which is what he does now) is sparce community interaction with things that interest him, and he lets us know when something new is coming. Which works just fine.

You have some valid points but at the same time the was the most uncharitable misrepresentation you could have made. Basically you proved his point.
-
Yeah, but we both know that this forum is filled to the brim with them.

Hello :DD i just want a hi back 😭
