World of Warcraft is $200 per year for the subscription.
To get everything in Destiny now, you have to pay $160.
The amount of content in WoW eclipses Destiny. It's not even close. We are almost paying the same as a subscription based MMO yet we only get 1/50th of the content.
They charge $160 for a year and we only get 1 legendary gun for a 3 week event, copy and paste in brand new activities like Psi Ops Battlegrounds. The throne world is empty with nothing to do. Master Raids don't even get new armor sets. Trials only gets 1 single new armor set per year. Crucible hasn't had a new map in 3 years. Iron banner isn't even getting a new armor set with an entire rework!
It's mind blowing. Why are we paying so much money when they barely add anything into the game?
Think about how many raids/dungeons/armor/weapons/complete class changes WoW gets over the course of the year, and it's only $40 more. It's sickening.

Don’t forget that with wow you can pretty much rebuy subscriptions w in game gold using eow tokens (for better or for worse). If you play the game a decent amount, you will realistically never even come close to that price. And it still has a MASSIVE amount of content over destiny, keeps it’s charm over the years without having to switch to a new version, and doesn’t vault content because of that.

Great points! It’s crazy. We should only be paying half of what we pay for Destiny. The content doesn’t match the price we pay.

The subscription is 140 a year and gives you zero content in it's course. The DLC content is an entirely different cost. Yes WoW has way more content, been out more than twice as long, and isn't a game that started on two gen back consoles. Ill comparison. If you are unsatisfied with what you have been getting for what you spend in Destiny, why keep spending?

Why are you insinuating that I just drop it all and run away? If you are unhappy with some aspects of a product, you can voice your opinion on that. Especially a product that you have been mostly enjoying for 7 years. You don't just run away. You voice your concerns and opinions on it in the hopes that it gets better.

are you being honest with yourself here? or more than likely you're embarrassed and trying to save face. you touted the amount of content in WoW in accordance to it's subscription price. you clearly have no clue about anything you've spoken on. the subscription maintains your account, that's it. all WoW content is sold separately. WoW is a pc game, arguably the biggest and most successful game ever made. to pit Destiny a game that arrived on 360 and ps3 and is less than half as old is preposterous. so yes, you were proven wrong. you deflect multiple times, then outright lie to pretend you aren't unhappy with what you've paid for just to do what? not admit how stupid you are for spending on what you don't like, not knowing wtf you're trying to base a stance on, or just being drug through the mud? take your pick, no matter what you've been proven wrong and established your stupidity.

New raids, new dungeons, new areas to explore, new loot. You do not pay each time they drop these bits of content over the course of 2 years. So we can say WoW is 200 sub, 40 expansion, and you get 100x more content than Destiny which is $160 for 1 year. 1/4 of a WoW raid has more content than most of an entire Destiny season. So you are the one who doesn't know what he is talking about. You haven't proven anything except how incredibly ignorant you are. I am done with you. You weird little gremlins are everywhere around here, trying to look smart when you have no idea wtf you're talking about. In the end, [b]we simply pay too much for what we are given with Destiny[/b], which is the main point that you seem to not be able to comprehend, not surprised.
