Bungie needs to stop listening to “elitist” or “specific play” players.
This is one of the most casual games in its genre.
This game has proven many times over that it flourishes off of fun and engaging content versus competitive and restrictiveness.
The elemental well mods are restrictive but are potent when built correctly.
Warmind Cells can be potent if the restriction was lifted due to Ikelos and Seventh Seraph weapons.
The whole perfectionist mentality is ruining the game by a landslide.
The Guardian Games matchmaking is the best matchmaking we have gotten bar none regardless of what players think.
Is it watered down?
Yes.
Is it much more fun then the normal nightfalls and heroic strikes?
Yes.
It is how the game is suppose to be played.
You can choose between optional matchmaking or non optional matchmaking.
Plain and simple.
Some players prefer LFG over matchmaking.
Some players prefer matchmaking over LFG.
The choice should be theirs no matter how many complaints come through the forums because players are going to complain no matter what because it is human nature.

It doesnt have locked loadouts and match game. They could have kept it the same but I think they are testing to waters to see if those modifiers are necessary with the optional matchmaking setup.

Didn't remember legend having locked loadout since I dont swap mid mission much anyway rarely notice it. However match game, or at least a version of it is active just not listed, I can feel that difference when a whole mag does basically nothing to a shield of a different element. Thankfully enhanced adaptive munitions takes them out in like 3-4 hits, which is nice when randos don't bring matching elements. It now tells people in game what shields we are facing like arc and solar I one so one team mate had two void weapons, a stasis primary, void subclass, and no Champ mods.

Yea locked loadouts is on Legend. I just rechecked. Yea I hear you but that is the name of the game when you matchmake with randoms. I try not to focus on what they are running but how I can help them succeed with what I am running. I usually run the Champ Mods to avoid having any issues because I dont expect much out of randoms. Yea Adaptive Munitions is nice to use but I feel it depends on what weapon you are using and burn type for the Nightfall or activity.

What gave you that information? I have done raids, dungeons and GMs. Just not on a no lifer level such yourselves. I chase weapons and anti-META loadouts not content.

It is nice actually. I dont play to others complex of play. I play to mine. I play end game when I feel like it and anyone from my clan can easily tell you that.
