Yep.
One of the main reasons (among others) I didn’t buy TWQ and have slowly stopped playing. It sucks because I WANT to play, but the devs and executives do not care and I am obviously not their focus of a player anymore. I really liked playing with my mom and sibling but $300-375 for us is WAY too much.
It’s turned into a sub “game”. (Remember they updated their EULA back in Oct to change the wording from “game” and “own” to “theme park” and “limited timed access”.)

I'd like to know how you get to $300+

It’s $100 per deluxe edition of TWQ for a full fireteam (3 people. 3x100=300)

I said $300+, I knew how you got to $300, but didn't see how you got any more than that since you said $300-$375. Let's just say $300, so it's an issue that you need to spend $300 on 15 months worth of entertainment for 3 people? If that is the case, I suggest your family play a game that doesn't require individual accounts in order to play together. This would be the equivalent of going to an Amusement Park and asking them to let all 3 of you to go in for the price of 1 ticket because all 3 of you would be experiencing the Park together. When you look at it on a individual basis, $100 for 15 months worth of a game is actually a great deal when compared to other games of its type, nothing comes close.

If it was over time, maybe. But up front it’s too much. And yeah, it is like a theme park ticket, one of many reasons why I hate them and don’t go rofl 🤣 and I detest how the game industry has gone down that scummy route as well, but sadly they go with the majority and the majority are zombies so 🤷🏻♂️ And yes, it’s why we did pick a game that when we buy it we can keep playing years later, and only need to spend money like every 3-4 years and that’s only $40 each. Just sucks Bungie has gone down that route, I really do like Destiny 2 gameplay and storyline. Oh well, at least I can still get some storyline but just “watching YouTube” as the toxic gatekeepers keep saying is the best option for the deleted content 🤷🏻♂️
