Kinda sad how they frequently gush about how this is the best community on Earth, etc. etc., and more hyperbole, but then almost completely avoid using their own forums entirely. They're ignoring a decent chunk of their community on here and it's sad. If they have problems with rulebreakers and toxic people, all they have to do is mute/ban them according to their own rules. What are Ninjas even for anyways? The more Bungie ignores their own forums, the more this section of their community feels dismissed, and this section of the community's sentiment towards Bungie gets even worse. It's a problem of their own making and it's only getting worse.

Probably because the forums is a very toxic cesspool of incels who can never be pleased, whereas on Twitter the community is somewhat tolerant and not disorderly.

People have been ripped to shreds and had their accounts locked just for having different political views. There's no way you actually think Twitter is better than these forums. The way I see it, the communities on both platforms are equally toxic, with Twitter being slightly worse. Edit: Wait, were you referring to the Destiny community on Twitter specifically? If you were, then that makes more sense.
-
Yes I was specifically talking about the Destiny community lol Ik Twitter isn’t a place of saints in regards to other topics
-
it's their forum, they could do whatever they want on here, they are just too greedy to pay someone to moderate it properly.
-
Or maybe they just don’t want to waste man hours and money on a relatively small crowd of idiots? Why do you think the Ninjas exist here? They’re volunteering on Bungie’s behalf to moderate the garbage on the BNet forums for free, and with that being said why would Bungie spend a single penny on changing what already works?
-
And that is saying something.
-
Because with the forums, they are responsible if someone gets banned/muted. On Twitter it’s someone else’s responsibility, so they can curate a bubble of safety and not outright get blamed for it.
-
Unsurprising how they'd rather punt the responsibility over to Twitter.
