I love how the season pass everyone paid for already has a surprise second "event pass" that costs just as much as the entire season itself.
The fact there isn't a silver dust option, even an exorbitant amount, is 1000% predatory and deceptive.
Get ready for per-season "nightfall pass", "raid pass", maybe even "decryption pass" and "powerful/pinnacle pass" in the coming seasons if/when you all make the "event pass" and "dungeon pass" a success.

Or wait for the items to be put..in the cash shop. Basically either silver now or silver later)

Activision kicked them out and took all the talent leads with them. Shadowkeep revealed their true colors - minimal to zero effort for maximum profit. It's mind-boggling that a studio that claims to be AAA and have over 700 employees is completely incapable of providing support to ONE GAME. Meanwhile there are studios who have no trouble handling multiple entire [i][b]franchises[/b][/i], let alone games. Bungie really thinks they're the only ones around and that their players don't pay attention to literally anything else. And no I'm not counting the Xbox halo fanboys who will be forever drunk off their koolaid, who would happily buy an actual box of developer feces if it has the oh-so-glorious tricorn on it, eat it all up, and try to tell us here it's the best turd they've ever tasted.
