New Hire Composer
(I know this may not be the best place to post this but there is no regular contact so here it goes!)
Hello!
I'm a composer that has been recently working on a demo Destiny soundtrack. A link to my YouTube page is above. I was wondering also if you guys would be willing to use a couple of fan tracks in your Game? (if not looking for new composers) I've been a player since the beta and have been wanting to contribute to the world this game has produced. About a year ago, I met and have a video call session with original Halo and Destiny composer Marty O'Donnell. He has also listened to my Destiny inspired pieces.
I have posted my music on the forums and recently I have tried my hand at creating an original voice for Felwinter. its currently posted on the forum as well. If there is a place I can apply please let me know! Hopefully someone sees this!

Anyone from Bungie willing to inform me on how and when you pick voice actors and are you willing to work with someone new if their samples are good enough?

3 RepliesHoo buddy. You do not know how right you are about being in the wrong place. OffTopic is populated by people with no connection to Destiny. I'd see if you could contact them directly through email. That'd be your best bet, as they don't often read the forums.

1 ReplyI fully expect to see your work in a game in the next few years. This is really well done. I saw someone link Bungie's career page but you should also look at indie studios, might be a good way to get a start if this is something you want to keep at.

7 RepliesOh wow. Wasn’t expecting to see something like this on the forums lol. I checked out the instrumental you linked and man it’s super solid! The horns are very destiny with the rest giving me a final fantasy vibe (love ff osts) I personally have been producing instrumentals for a very long time myself (think 13 or 14 years by now?). Never got any proper classes for that, mostly YouTube taught lmao. All though most of mine is rap, and rnb and that is my main focus, I’ve been a gamer since I was a kid and gain a lot of inspiration from game soundtracks. I want to say working with bungie on a soundtrack someday is on the bucket list as well. Here is a link to an instrumental I did a little while back in case you were curious of my work. I appreciate the work, composing is awesome, and (THE UNNAMABLE)'s soundtrack is actually amazing. But, down here in the depths of the forums, we tend to keep away from (THE UNNAMABLE). I'm sure you'd get more responses somewhere that does not have its own government. I'll be taking your left pinky toe as a tax for mentioning (THE UNNAMABLE.)
