40$ is not a lot of money and I only play weekends. Yet I still like Destiny.

It's really a lot more than $40s. You want gally +25, season +$10, BL +$30, WQ, +40, etc. WQ should grant you access to everything before WQ that is still in the game.

Just get a legendary rocket so you don't need Gjally. Better yet, get Sleeper. That's a F2P exotic. I never buy the season. It takes surprisingly little willpower to do so, and you can still be cool without it. BL, SK and Forsaken come in the legendary pack, which costs you like 25 bucks. Maybe even less. If you get get a half-off deal on WQ (I got mine for less than 40$) that's 40-45 dollars. Simple math. Unless, of course, you WANT the rest of that and you're prepared to pay for it but you certainly don't need it, and it's like 5% of the game. WQ and the legendary edition give you basically everything.
