I've witnessed it. I was put into a Crucible Control match on The Dead Cliffs where the entire time I was there, the game was saying that I had really bad connection consistently. I finish that match and find a new match. Then the connection is perfectly fine, CONSISTENTLY. The only match this ENTIRE SEASON that messed up like that was that Dead Cliffs match. I am wired. Nothing in my house is messing up or lagging. No late packets, nothing. I still see hate mail every once in a while about someone complaining to me about so-called lag that I don't see. So I know players are still out there trying to report me for something that isn't my issue. So god help me if I see a restriction notice due to that match, I will raise a storm on these forums, no bans possible or not. Maybe it's more of a console issue or it isn't, but it's not MY issue. Crossplay and whatever happened before that during Season of the Splicer really screwed something up. Got my first restriction warning during Season of the Lost for some reason and the only thing I can think of that might've triggered that is just some random issue with an earlier wireless connection, so I drilled a hole into my wall and switched to wired JUST for this game, because I sure didn't have to do it for any other game. No positive visual difference, BTW. I remember when I saw posts about connection issues often getting responded to by players or BungieHelp accounts constantly saying it's an issue on that player's end back in the past. And now look at the forums. Seems like a huge chunk of the playerbase is complaining about it now and noticeably with a lot less disagreements. It tells a story. I was trying to hold off from more posts just like this and mainly focus on calling out bugs that have been overdue for much needed patches. But wow can this game really throw a curve ball at you and make you paranoid after putting up with everything since day 1. You just can't play this game and expect consistency anymore. CBMM, my rear.
