Playing 1 hour a day is the reason it’s taking forever. That’s a you problem.
From my POV. All I did was dedicate Tuesday nights after work for pinnacle grind and after that just complete daily bounties for an hour everyday or every other day for ranking up my season level.
Don’t even have to play 24/7.

The 1 hour thing is bs. Rng can make everything exponential. Some get an hour others is takes no lifeing it. I’ve been at cap for a while too but it doesn’t mean it’s not the shittiest system in gaming. No one will ever copy it out of all the systems other devs and franchises have copied Bungie and put in their game NO other game has rng leveling and for good reason.

‘That’s a you problem’ Actually it’s not. It might simply be the only time they have to play amongst other things, and not every spare hour has to be spent playing Destiny. If you have more time then good for you but don’t call it a ‘problem’ and insinuate that the poster can easily free up more time to play.

Then why complain? It just digs a bigger hole for the person complaining. Imagine me complaining about a game and issue that I can’t level up fast because I have one hour of play time. There’s the issue, it’s going to take take a lot more time than those who have more time. Think very slowly about it.

Don’t be condescending. The complaint is about value for time spent and the OP is absolutely right when they point out that the grind is ridiculous if you are 1554 and your pinnacle drops are at 1553. People who play longer might stand a better chance of getting more drops that assist them. I said might, not will as RNG is a cruel mistress but certainly the longer you play then the more opportunities present themselves.

Just doing the +1 pinnacles is why not really a playtime issue. Can you reach max just doing them? Yes but it will take a lot longer and in most cases not possible in a normal season length.

If you are 1554 average, you will never get a 1553 Pinnacle drop. That math will never happen. Just because your highest piece of gear is 1554, does not mean your next drop will be 1554. Pinnacle drops from activities are not weighted equally. It's obvious the OP is wasting his time with the basic +1 pinnacles, while ignoring the countless +2 pinnacles.
