but, it isn't though.
Also, farming is what keeps the game alive. There's a lot of us that enjoy that aspect of the game - and the hours we put in in a week are probably more than you do for half the year. It only makes sense, financially, that Bungie caters to volume.
And that's not to say that the game shouldn't or isn't plenty of fun for you, you still play. Literally the only issue you have is doing GM's and master raids/dungeons. To that, the answer is just to play a little more than you do one weekend and you should get there easy.

Farming loot, yes. Farming power level, no. Farming power doesn't make the game alive, it becomes a chore and makes no sense on how you can't do an old activity anymore just because you don't grind power level requirement. That being said, it shows how bland the loot in destiny that they can only put power level farming as "play time" and content locked behind it. Really, what's the difference between suros, omolon or hakke? I can tell the difference between manufacturers in borderlands while I can say none in destiny, other than being the same weapon with different casings.

It took me literally a week and a half to get to 1 short of max level. Another week and a half to get the only piece I was missing, my Titan mark. If you think max level grind is a chore you're doing it wrong. It's easier then ever.
-
And how many duplicates did you get so far? As many bread as you've eaten in your life? Pinnacle grind with RNG deciding if you gain power level or not is not something I would call as fun, I rather take that 50 power that you can reach even with blues than pinnacle
-
I got lots of dupes. I dont remember how many, it was like 6 weeks ago. If your not max by now thats on you and anyone else complaining here. For the people who actually play the game the system is working just fine. Yeah, dupes suck, but everything averages out anyway. You just gotta do the activities.
-
Maybe there’s people that don’t have that much time to play all the activities ? At this point the game has become boring. There is no dynamism, just farming and farming
-
So then, what are you doing here?
-
Writing a feedback trying to raise awareness on a problem that many players have
-
OK, I disagree. This has so far been one of my favorite seasons. Yeah there's some things that need fixing, like overloads and lack of an actual master raid, but Bungie did a good job here.
-
I don’t have the season pass so I can’t talk about the season. But I complain about the requirements for the GM. That’s the only problem to me. Then it can be very difficult, I get it, but at least let me participate and try
-
A lot of uns enjoy that aspect? What are you on, dude lol
-
IDK, I guess all the many people I play with must be on the same thing, as we all enjoy some level of grind and farming. I mean... it is a loot game after all.
-
Ehhh no? People grind to get somewhere not because they enjoy the grind. The fact that this game has progressively increased the grind to a degree where it’s pretty much only that, repeated each season bc nothing is good for much longer, I don’t think you can claim anymore that people like the grind.
-
I can claim whatever I want, especially when I know my friends and I play this game bacause the grind gives us something to do. We enjoy the grind. We enjoy spending time chasing the things we want, and we enjoy getting those things. That's all part of the grind. If you don't like the way loot games are set up, maybe you should just play CoD or Halo.
-
What sad lives you must lead lol
-
Nahh, pretty good actually.
