Saddens me that we went from cool armor liek that to what we have now In d2.
I mean at first it looked like we would be getting cool armor like that.
With the calus prestige, raid layer, and flawless trials armor glows
But then kinda nothing.

Bungie have shown over the years with the Solstice of heros event that they can make cool looking,glowing armour but then with almost any other armour set that they create looks really boring,crappy or ugly like the strike/pvp/gambit sets,Iron banner set or the Throne world set for example(this is just my opinion there may be some who like them and thats fine).Speaking of the Throne world I really don't understand why in a hive themed expansion with a hive themed destination we didn't get hive themed weapons and hive themed armour,It would've been more fitting than the alchemy themed ones that we got.

Yeah I pretty much only use solstice gear now and save for it each year. Wish they did something cool like that more often. This seasons armor the void one is a nice step in the right direction. Yeah I thought that was odd to, hive guardian armor would’ve been cool
