Pretty sure sounds like youre using stasis and shards which arent wells and didnt see you using mod which turns shards into wells because i have been using stag and cwl and wells and not had this happen but wasnt on stasis

Elemental shards is that mod. I don’t change this armor set at all and regularly this build works.
