Yes, its nostalgic. Yes it was liked. But it's just recycling the same old content, and it spells dollar signs.
Unpopular or not, this is "my opinion". If we keep settling we will get what we settle for.

I don't care that it's nostalgic, I just want more exotic auto rifles because I think the current selection is too small and weak. There is only ONE exotic auto rifle I like, and it's Hard Light. I do think they should make new content as well, but I don't see the harm in bringing in cool, older stuff as well.

Monte Carlo is a beast if paired with some elemental well mods. Suros has been, and continues to be, a beast in PvP as well as a solid PvE choice due to its health regen. Hard Light is probably the weakest of the exotic auto rifles. And it make no sense to introduce a weaker exotic than Hard Light just for the sake of more options. Khvostov is terrible and should never come back. Any legendary auto is at least as good, if not better.
