Yeah, honestly. Or what if, for example, the version with older content was only available on certain consoles or a separate client. You could get Destiny: Lite or something like that which only contains the latest content or the full version with “legacy” content that is no longer maintained, and perhaps with a note that it may not be as stable as the main version. Or maybe even legacy servers like MMOs tend to have. However it may be, that old content NEEDS to be playable to get new players in.
