3. If you need someone to leave your fireteam for a legitimate reason, ask them to bounce.
I’m sure that’ll go smoothly

Horrible suggestion
-
Or maybe, your ego is so blown out of proportion that you can't take constructive criticism for your opinions lol

One of the dumbest comments I’ve even see on this forum full of dumb comments.
Easy fix... remove the boot feature entirely.
That is... wow. Haven't seen a take that bad in a while. Have you played online games before?
1. You can leave the fireteam if you no longer want to be connected with someone.
The people getting kicked don't want to leave, others want them to leave. Nobody kicks you because you asked to be kicked.
2. Adjust your privacy settings if you have unwanted players in your fireteam.
That does not solve the problem of unwanted players already being in the fireteam, and can also prevent wanted players from joining.
3. If you need someone to leave your fireteam for a legitimate reason, ask them to bounce.
The only legitimate reason people use the kick feature is to remove trolls/-blam!- from the party because they're ruining the experience for the people around them. No, they don't care how nicely you ask them to leave.
-
Worst idea i have ever seen xD. You are either too naïve or trolling xD.
-
So someone joins my LFG where I asked for them to bring mods and they don't. I now can't kick them and get someone with a brain. Terrible idea.

You don't screen guardians before you invite to fireteam? Takes 3 seconds to bring up their profile prior to sending the invite. Are you new to this?
You don't screen guardians before you invite to fireteam? Takes 3 seconds to bring up their profile prior to sending the invite. Are you new to this?
You can't see it if their stats are private. The only consistent way is in game. That's what you get for trying to act superior.
-
If your stats are private, you are hiding something, you don't get an invite. No one is superior, just learn how to screen LFG properly. Not hard.
If your stats are private, you are hiding something, you don't get an invite. No one is superior, just learn how to screen LFG properly. Not hard.
Says the guy with private stats
-
Your stats are private... Zero for two.
-
Okaaaaaaay? What if the guy just says... no
-
If you asked nicely and they don't leave, leave the fireteam and regroup with appropriate players. Takes a few moments to do. Set your fireteam privacy appropriately and you won't have unwanted fireteam members. Have you played this game long?
-
Since D1 beta back on the 360. And why should WE, the REST of the party have that inconvenience when booting a member takes WAY less effort and is equally as effective at getting rid of unwanted folks? Also I REALLY don't like the mindset you have. What you want is Timid suggestions akin to "Nooooo please don't do that. Pleeeeaaaase?" Rather than stern backlash to any unwanted behaviour. And I'm sorry, but some people deserve nothing more than that.
-
Okay and what if they don’t leave?
-
Then leave and regroup with appropriate players. Takes a few moments to do. Set your fireteam privacy appropriately and you won't have unwanted fireteam members. Are you new around here?
-
That’s way too inconvenient for the rest of the team cause now we gotta leave and rejoin and then what if the next player does the same thing? What we gotta all leave again?
-
If you are referring to randoms from LFG, do you not screen LFG players? It takes like 3 seconds to check their profile and loadout. Most people use default privacy settings allowing anyone to check everything about them at a glance. Takes a few seconds to see your raid report, current loadout your detailed PvP stats. And if you have them all set to private, then I know you're hiding something and you don't get invited. Simple.
-
Just because they completed the raid doesn't mean their a good teammate, maybe they got carried, and or just a horrible person to be around. Why should everyone have to return to orbit and regroup because of 1 person? What if everyone's talking in gamechat? It'd be even more difficult to regroup - in a timely manner.
-
And what if the person is just a horrible -blam!-? How do you prevent that?
