This is the content we like. Solid handiwork bröther! You’ve managed to make my spindly disaster-prone righty look cool. That’s some skills Edit: leaving this here because I’ve scrolled back and fourth like 4 times to look at the comparison https://imgur.com/a/6y4TMfM

 • Thanks much, for the encouragement and the link! Honestly, I was relieved to get to your pic. The bandages meant less joints I needed to draw 0.o

 • I’m glad my crippling injury could be of convenience to you. I still can’t get used to flipping people off with my left. Slightly unrelated question: do you ever sell your drawings? As a side hustle you can make some good cash, especially given your sick skill. I mostly sell 8x10 drawings that take like, 2 hours max. Because you make solid art, you can overcharge however you like. Most people just want a stupid sketch of their dead dog anyways. 80$ for an easy 2 hours of work is almost criminal

 • I’ve considered trying to sell artwork, but my drawing has always just been a hobby, so the thought is daunting… mainly because of the worry that drawings won’t come out as people would like. But maybe that’s something I should revisit. How would you recommend approaching that?

 • Nah man, I’ve seen people get paid for some really wonky stuff, you can do no wrong. I guarantee nobody will be dissatisfied. On every commission I have ever done I have gone through the process thinking they’re gonna be disappointed or harshly critique it and refuse to pay. That has never happened, and unless you’re setting up a shop for anonymous customers who will try as hard as possible not to pay, it never will. If you’ve ever shown off your work before you’ve definitely had someone ask you to draw for them. Most jerks don’t take two seconds to realize that art is COMMISSIONED. They think because they know you it’s just a lil favor. I’ve been letting family and close friends have their first commission free. I make a point of telling them that their FIRST commission is free. This is not a favor, this is a commission. Drive that point. Usually after a couple drawings (free ones are small, you don’t go all out for freebies) your friends and family know what you’re worth. You produce good pieces and you’re reliable. Now charge numbers. I get around 1 or 2 commissions a month. Incredible considering I have the tiniest following on a private account, only sell to people I’m connected to, and have upfront nonnegotiable prices. My commissions are such a casual thing. I’m getting paid to just doodle. This is my hobby and I’m making money off 3 pencils and some paper. If you have any interest in doing this, just go for it! You don’t even have the play the long game and undersell yourself for traction. Do some freebies and then immediately cash in. If you have any doubts about your abilities, shut up. Art is subjective, but you are objectively talented and nobody will criticize you. Dew it.

 • Geez, thank you… It’s nice to hear it doesn’t have to be complicated to manage. Im gonna write this stuff down, give it a try, and see where it goes! Definitely a boost of confidence in my stuff and how I can earn a little cash through it. Thanks again :D

 • Of course! If you ever run into difficulties, PM me. I know nothing about business, but I’ve gotten very good at cheesing numbers while doing what I like. Sincerely hope this works for you, it’s killer making money off hobbies!
