Check around the mailbox for his eyebrows. If they aren’t there, then you know there was definitely foul play.

I believe it’s too late for that. The snow is long gone, so it’d be impossible to find his eyebrows. It’s a wonder he didn’t form wrinkles from that three-hour scowl. ;-;

But if he simply melted, his eyebrows would’ve fallen next to the mailbox wouldn’t they? Now I can’t speak for your mailbox, but if something fell next to my mailbox, it would remain there for quite some time unless somebody took it.

True. However, the top of his mailbox was completely cleared of snow while the other mailboxes were untouched. They all were exposed to the same amount of sunlight, too. Most people wouldn’t take a square of snow along with a pessimistic snowman. That makes me think someone swept him away like rubbish. Most likely, his eyebrows are still there, just lost somewhere amidst the grass. ;-;
