Character & Gun Models NOT Loading

Character & Gun Models NOT Loading Whenever I am in a raid, pvp or any multiplayer activity I start “wireframing” and can’t ADS. It makes the game unplayable. When this happens it also changes gun behavior. Example: Vex changes its fire mode to a standard “burst” fusion rifle instead of its normal high rate of fire. I’m able to temporarily fix by killing myself and getting rezzed. However if anyone else dies, it triggers the issue again. I’m also able to temporarily fix by swapping and re-equipping weapons, but it often comes back shortly after. This issue is becoming more persistent. It makes the game unplayable. We all spent a good amount of $$$ on this game. Please help. Xbox Series X Nat: Open Internet: 1 gig fibre, wired connection links to pics: https://ibb.co/bgSVy8S https://ibb.co/wWDFSk0

  • Hi. Thanks for your report. You may want to clear your console cache to see if that helps.

    • I had this issue last season. I deleted the game and re-downloaded it and it resolved the issue. I have an XBox one.

Hey, I had the exact same problem with my PS5. I read that constantly shutting down the game BEFORE turning off the console or going into standby will fix the issue, which it did. It’s some extra clicks every time but it helped at least for me. I hope it will for you guys too.

    • Bungie I’m sure will address in a future twab and patch.

    • Same thing happens to me and has been happening since I upgraded to the Series X. AND it's absolutely frustrating... Like you, my NAT settings are open, I'm running 1 gig fiber with a wired connection. I've also seen reports of this happening on the Series S as well.

      • Hey there. Thanks for the report. This is a known issue and is actively being investigated:
Some players may appear as invisible or visually loading for extended periods of time.
https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360054863011-Destiny-2-Year-4-Known-Issues-and-Vital-Information Some players have reported success with clearing their console cache by unplugging their console and leaving it unplugged for about five minutes Otherwise, stay tuned to the @BungieHelp Twitter page and the weekly TWAB for the most up to date information.
