Just as an FYI, the raid fusion rifle can roll chill clip as well as a strong special weapon option.
Funnelweb, Cantata, and Typhon should all have been craftable.

I prefer the omolon HC over cantata. Wish we got a stasis omolon HC. Liquid cooling ammo. Or a stasis glaive...for the top slot...

Idk the Suros 140’s just feel good to me. The older sister from new monarchy and this feels the same way

Yes. Both feel bad to me. Its player preference. I prefer omolon...like jack queen king and so on.

I have a hard time with how boxy the frames are and how they block my vision. They tend to need a lot more stability than other HCs to feel good and accurate. I just land follow-up shots more often with Suros.

The problem is that they gave it mostly meh perks. The only one I actually use is Golden Tricorn + Ambitious Assassin. Get a kill, ambitious activates getting two in the tube. Toss a void Grenade or melee, get a kill and 2x Tricorn. I then can fire ~3-4 rockets with the buff. The gun does seem to drop more often than others. Thankfully not to the level of edge transit for me… yet

Red herring is very good though. Field prep + lasting impression is perfect for long damage phases on bosses or for champions. Also..lasting impression +proccing your own div on it.

Red Herring is the new edge transit. I crafted one for the quest just to dismantle it. Luckily I got the Royal Entry with impact casing, impulse amplifier and lasting impression. Oddly I'm using Two Tailed Fox more than anything else for a heavy.

I agree Chill clip would be best on a Lightweight GL. That would be by far one of the best perks for one. Good utility for just doing something normal. I like it a lot on the Hakke rocket. I managed to roll one for auto loading+impact casing+chill clip in the first week. The fusion should be really good based on that it’s a special weapon and has the highest uptime of the currently available ones. It’s also hitscan, making landing a direct hit very easy if not trivial. This would be in more of the utility/add clear fusion type working very similarly to a less powerful Reservoir Burst with more utility.

Impulse amplifier (for better reload speed) and chill clip. For some reason, that’s the rocket I’ve been running for the past 3 weeks. Chill clip is kinda cracked for champs because 2 shots freezes them allowing you to damage them and get some health back while they aren’t shooting at you.

Totally. The GL is a little better for that solo and can get some decent perks with it too. GL’s just don’t have a lot of total damage. Impulse is good, but I’ve found that it can mess up your shots sometimes with tracking. It’s a great perk though. Auto-loading seems like the play for me right now at least.
