Yup. "Mars returning" seems like bs to me. I have never thought removing content we paid for was fair to begin with. Now saying they are bringing it back, but not actually doing anything close? Just a way to pump up pre-orders I guess.

  • The removal of content sucks for newer players but sense I’m a veteran player that only engages with the newer stuff that’s been released it barely impacts me. The content that I’ve seen removed is really old expansion stuff 3+ years and the seasonal actives.

  •
I have never thought removing content we paid for was fair to begin with.
why does everyone keep saying this??? you do NOT buy any content. you buy a license to access bungie's content. fun part is, we all agreed to it whether or not you read the terms of service prior to clicking 'I Agree'.

  • Legalese nonsense. They can write the user agreement any way they want. It doesn't make it right. It doesn't even make it legal.

lol if you don't think it's legal, trot your lawyer out and let them take their best shot. there have actually been some that have tried. to my knowledge, none managed to win a judgement in their favor. but hey, your lawyer is up to the task right? and if you don't think it was 'right' why did you agree?

  • You prove my point. Thats what players are left with; Agree, Don't Play, or Take them to Court. Companies can write whatever bs they want into the user agreement. It is NOT right, its not Ethical. They have gotten away with it because there is no industry oversight. Oh wait! There is one more thing players can do when game companies try this unethical underhanded bs... We can tell them we think it is wrong. Which I do.

Well thats what happens when you have a fanboi, its not like they havent changed the wording in that tos 5 times already, bc guess what! That catch-22 in the tos wasnt in the original tos of destiny 2’s release it wasnt added until before dcv and most of you didnt know it was in there either until someone complained and you went in there and cherrypicked it and get you “ah ha” moment….and why do you think they added at the “bottom”? Bc they knew damn well that most people do not read tos’ in their entirety…there was an actual court case over this, and yes the company lost bc the court found that 80 something percent ( i dont remember the exact number) of people dont read it and that particular company would hide it in their tos under legalese terms that no laymen speaking person would understand. The point is, just bc its a get out of a lawsuit free card, doesnt make it moral or ethical, and they should be called out on that bs. And im pretty sure anyone under 18 cant enter into a legal agreement without a guardian or parents signing off.
