Unfortunately, this would lead to a number of exploits: 1. You could easily carry people by getting the boss to a sliver of health and swap out for a new teammate. 2. You could leave to swap loadout, for example, maybe you start with a team of 3 Hunters for invisibility to speedrun the strike, then switch to 3 Thundercrash Titans to melt the boss. 3. Ammo economy could be easily exploited. Out of ammo? Just leave and join back. (I actually did this quite often in Master Empire Hunts the first week of a new season when everyone was severely underleveled). While there may be good intentions for making this change, there are too many negative effects from a change like this.

Assuming they swap it to rejoining spawns you with no ammo what's better? To finish the run with ammo? Or swap, wait for supers and have to find more ammo? [quote]3.   • 1. You have to know there is a major difference between a team of 2 carrying a 3rd player and a team of 3 quickly running through the strike and swapping out at the end. Regardless of whether carries exist or not, this is not how a game mode should be played. 2. If you are a team that has no business doing a GM based on skill level but still want to get the rewards, you are likely the kind of person that would employ a cheesy strat like that. Many GM strikes can have several portions literally skipped with Hunter invisibility and also have bosses that can be instantly melted with the right build of heavy and supers. Maybe you specifically wouldn't do this, but plenty of people would. 3. You must understand that this would be an awful system as well. If you allowed players to join in with zero ammo, you might as well start the GM over, which is how the current system already works. It is unfortunate when you get an error code in a GM, but it doesn't happen often enough to warrant a change to the system. If you are a player actively doing GM content, being kicked to orbit every once in a blue moon is not a major inconvenience. If you are a player that rarely plays GM content, you are not getting error coded often enough for it to matter.

They would back so that you would have to be in the game when it started to join back. 2.they could keep your load out locked and have message saying do you want to leave this activity and not join back to unlock you character.
