The vaccine doesn’t immunize you in the slightest. It only reduces symptoms on the chance you get it.
Don’t think you have some magical shield, you can still pass it on.

Vaccines introduce immunity in B and T cells. I agree that the vaccine shouldn’t be seen as a “magical shield” that prevents any and all spread of disease, but maybe we all shouldn’t make such cavalier statements about immunity in a conversation that’s only partially related to the topic.

Correct. There’s just too many people out there who think they’re completely immune to it. It’s just good to know what it really does for you.
