You’re right but I only see 1 player who escaped the flawless pool. Maybe there’s a new way to bypass it.

It's likely due to small player pool. The flawless matchmaking is prioritized but if it is having trouble finding people, it will drop that.

I’m 99% sure flawless mm is strictly enforced no matter the queue time. Besides, I played ~60 games on friday/saturday and never waited more than 20 seconds for a game, only saw 7-8 players more than once. Played 1 game of regular and freelance shortly after flawless pool kicked in and again <20 second queue times.

Can't speak to your second comment as I don't know, which is why I said likely. It definitely is not "strictly enforced" though. It prioritizes it, but if it doesn't find matches within some set amount of time, the matchmaking parameters expand.

Edited by BraddyBo: 2/7/2022 11:38:37 AMWell I’ve never been nor have I ever seen somebody outside the assigned pool and I usually play on sunday/monday after the seperate pools is active, aside from the week where avoiding the lighthouse after 7-0 would negate the flawless pool. Plus the queue would have to cross at least 5min before that parameter is lifted, assuming it can get lifted.
-
As long as you don’t hit the Lighthouse you’ll stay out of the flawless pool but still get the flawless added to your account

I tried that twice before but it didn’t work plus the guy in question had 2x flawless before he played against op, not 1.
-
Entirely possible that some of the glow armour I saw was from last weekend… there was definitely at least one! Solo Q so perhaps there’s a workaround?
-
It’s just 1 guy and he had 2x flawless before he matched you and it was after daily reset.
-
Just checked trials report and you’re absolutely right! Wonder how he’s done it 🤨
-
Nvm, I just played a game in each and everybody was flawless. The guy must know a way to bypass or something.
-
All I say to that is boooo 😂

Maybe the flawless pool is seperate between freelance and regular. After looking more closely, both of his flawless cards were in regular trials so maybe the flawless pool doesn’t carry over.
